Western Fall Festival, offers events across Duncan Friday thru Sunday, September 14, 15 & 16th… Free tours will be the new feature of Duncan’s only Historic House Museum between 1 pm & 5 pm Sunday. Dop by 9th & Oak (814 W. Oak) and enjoy a leisurely afternoon under the shade of the large old trees. Be one of the first people to enjoy Duncan Car Club’s fundraiser for the Foreman Prairie House, new Antique Automobile Rides. Your small donation will entitle you and your family a 10-15 minute ride throught downtown and the old central residential areas of Duncan. Typewriiten literature will inform you of the significance of early day home and businessses during the lifetimes of ET & Nom (Tom and Mary Etta) Foreman.
There will be popcorn, lemonade & dulcimer music by “Good Friends and Dulcimers” group out of Lawon drifting through the air, to set an old fashioned feeling on the lawn of the Prairie House. Meanwhile the Fifth Annual Doll Show will take place upstairs, for young and old to enjoy, with Mrs. Linda Mahoney, from North Carolina, via Oklahoma City as our in house doll expert for the day.
